I have started reading the book Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo. The book is about his four-year-old son Colton that almost died. According to the book Colton spent three minutes in Heaven. After his release from the hospital, he started sharing with his parents little tidbits about Heaven. I was reading chapter nineteen "Jesus Really Loves the Children" on the day that Norway experienced a tragedy. In this chapter, Colton repeatedly told his parents that Jesus really loves children.
As a teacher and an adult that was not blessed with children in our home, I can not understand how any adult can not love a child. Every child that I have ever taught has had a specialness about them that has grabbed my heart.
Anders Berhing Breivik will someday face Jesus and as the Bible says "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, to me every knee shall bow, And every tongue shall confess to God." Romans 14:11 Whatever punishment he receives here on earth is nothing compared to the punishment he will receive from God.
My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Norway as they mourn the death of so many young people.
